But sometimes a busy person, particularly one with a full-time job and a family, does not have the time it takes to search on his or her own to find the right job.
A solution to this problem is to contact an employment agency / recruiter. There are thousands of employment agencies that will help you find a job, you can usually find a local recruiter or use one of the many national employment agencies. While you do need to sign a contract with most employment agencies, generally their fee will be paid for by the company that hires you. Recruiters search for job openings for you according to your abilities, skills, education, and experience. They do exactly what you would do if you had the time, plus know of any new openings before being advertised. Most employment agencies will keep searching for a job if their first suggestion isn't a match, but beware: some recruiters will dump you if you disagree with their first proposal.
